                                                        Gabrielle Rumora

Gabrielle is featured together with Stasia Very on 5 very popular Catholic/ Christian CD’s beginning with “Cry in the Wilderness” produced in 1993 and sold on the Larrikin Label later taken over by Festival Music.  Her mother Stasia Very was delighted to combine with her and the producer chose her voice for specific songs and hymns on lead tracks.  She sings a beautiful rendition of “O Holy Night” on a Christmas Album “I Believe its Christmas” and also the Shubert “Ave Maria” and “I’m Your Mother” on a Marian CD called “Mother Sweetest Best”.

 

Gabrielle Rumora had a passion for music and singing since she was a little girl but hid her talent from herself and the family until high school years and wowed everyone when she topped her Year 12 in music & voice.  She also entered eisteddfords after that success and received highly commended awards in classical pieces.  She continued voice training for a further 2 years realising at last the fullness of her gifts..  Her voice has a strength and a purity that tears at the heart and so is also well suited to spiritual classic hymns.

 

Gabrielle’s talent is maturing like fine wine and she now sings in Due for spiritual events with her mother Stasia Very in beautiful classical/spiritual style and harmony but more recently even with guitarist/songwriter Angeline Wilkes where she comes alive in jazz style.  Her beautiful voice continues to “touch”.  The team work between herself and Angeline is uplifting and interesting and especially in the two new songs written by Angeline – “kisses from above” and “beautiful blue”.
